Last week Dannie made the fun little birds nest out of our vintage brass wire and filled it with Turquoise Colored Jasper. It was my job to make a necklace out of it. I wanted the beads I used to really contrast the turquoise color, but what color to use?
I recently found an online color wheel called the Color Scheme Designer and used it to pick a complementary color to go with the beads in the birds nest. This is such a great tool I knew I had to share it with you! Hope you enjoy playing with it!
Great color wheel! Thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeleteJust checking your blog for first time,I should have done it sooner. The color wheel is Fantastic
ReplyDeleteand brings out more ideas for color combos. I will have to confess color wheels were not something I found easy this is.
Have a great day,Doris

just found your site--thanks for the color wheel and its myriad of ideas to mix and match
ReplyDeleteJust found the site while pricing beads on-line. Thanks for the color wheel - much easier and less expensive than a $27 color book. It's a shame you're not a bricks-and-mortar retailer, since I live about 2 miles away.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great tool, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe bird's next bracelet is adorable. And thanks for the link to the color wheel.
