Why am I writing a blog?

Good question, what provoked me to write a blog about eebeads? You, the customer and general public! I want to communicate and find out what you're wondering about. I get a lot of interesting questions from customers and jewelry designers via email that I answer, but with a blog, you can post a comment and I can share the answers with everyone!

What is eebeads? We're an internet retailer that sells beads to the public. We are not wholesale and we don't have a store. Our specialty is selling smaller packages of beads (versus a gross or a strand) so you don't have to buy a lot, just what you need. We add new items every week and a new jewelry design you can make as well. All our jewelry designs are free to anyone.

Even though we're now closed for the holidays, I'll be coming in to do some work and checking email so I will be blogging. Feel free to email me a question/comment or post a comment below.

I look forward to blogging WITH you so send in those comments!

  1. I just wanted to drop a quick note to thank you for the MANY project ideas you have on the website. Thank you! Thank you! (Now, to find the time...) :-)

  2. First of all, I want to repeat what I have said to you many times during the past 10 years. You have a great site, and I look forward to doing business with you for many years to come. Second, regarding the many e-mails that you received during the holiday break, you did nothing wrong. Your message about being closed was clearly visible -- people just didn't see it. I share your frustration. I am a college professor at Empire State College in New York. I was home with my family in Michigan from December 21 until today. This was a well publicized college-wide BREAK. However, when I looked at my e-mail queue today, I saw many e-mails from students wanting to know whether I received their (late) essay assignments. My poor secretary even received calls at her home! I think the electronic age has produced a population that thinks everyone -- all businesses and educational institutions -- are available 24/7, every single day. I don't have a solution. Just know that I understand! My best wishes for a happy 2008.

  3. Thanks for your comment about our closing issues. Sorry it's down here...you commented on the wrong entry :) No worries though, I'm sure folks will read it.

  6. I love the inspirational ideas. I wish I had one entire room set up for crafting. I love making jewelry, I am not very good at it yet. My sister's favorite color is green and I am going to make up an emerald necklace that is one of the inspirational ideas. Thank you and I'm glad I discovered this website.

And yes I saw the notice about you being closed.

  7. Well, just keep using those inspirational ideas. Try one of our designs, but with different beads of your own. Pretty soon, you'll be creating designs of your own! And most of all... have fun!
